Scheduling Appointments

If you wish to schedule an appointment, you will need a valid credit card. Please be aware that the length and price depend on your service provider, but we try our best to accommodate your requests. Also, please note that some services and/or team members require a deposit to schedule the service. If so, your deposit will be applied to the cost after service unless you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours.

Confirmations

A salon coordinator will text or call you at least 48 hours before your appointment. If you do not confirm your appointment 24 hours in advance, we will cancel the appointment and reach out to reschedule.

It is your responsibility to confirm your appointment. Our team will text or call as a courtesy, but it is your appointment to remember.

Cancelation Policy

Our team works on commission, so we have a strict cancelation and no-show policy. We confirm appointments 24 to 48 hours in advance. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we request a 24-hour notice. If you do not cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged a cancelation fee or deposit. If you are a no-show, you will be charged for the total amount of the scheduled service.

Emergencies or Complications

Emergencies happen. If you have an emergency or complication arise last minute, please contact us by phone as soon as possible to make adjustments.

Additionally, if one of our team members has an emergency, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Timely Arrival

Please arrive at your reserved time. If this is your first time at Bauhaus Salon + Spa, we request that you arrive 5–10 minutes early to complete the paperwork. If you are running late, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late without contacting us, you will incur a $10+ fee and may limit the time for your service.

If a stylist runs behind, one of our coordinators will contact you.

Product Returns

If you are unhappy with your product purchase or it is defective, it may be returned for in-salon product credit only.

All Jentry Kelley Cosmetics purchases returned or exchanged will result in a 20% restocking fee.

All tools have a manufacturer warranty; please inquire with a coordinator about these.

Children

If your child(ren) is not receiving a Bauhaus service, please do not bring them to your appointment. This is both for your child’s safety and the tranquil salon experience for the rest of our guests. If you arrive with younger children for your appointment, you will be asked to reschedule for another date.

Gratuities

Gratuity is not included in the service pricing but is greatly appreciated.

Wellness or Illness Policy

Out of consideration for our guests, if one of our team members falls ill on the day of the client’s appointment, the client will be notified with a phone call. The appointment will be rescheduled with another team member or with the original service provider for a later day.

If you are unable to keep your appointment due to illness, please notify us as soon as possible to make adjustments.

Natural Disasters

We know that Louisiana weather is unpredictable and can change very quickly. We want everyone to be safe. If you believe it is unsafe or impossible to travel to your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible to make adjustments.

If your service provider is unable to travel to work due to weather, we will contact you to reschedule with another team member or with the original service provider for a later day.

Bauhaus Salon + Spa follows local weather advisories, and if weather conditions cause us to close, we will send notifications through email and text. If you have an appointment affected by weather closures, a team member will contact you directly through text or phone.
